Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for purchases made from https://sy-techsolution.com (the “Website”). If this policy conflicts with an executed Statement of Work (SOW) or order form, that SOW/order controls.

1) Scope

This policy covers digital services and deliverables (e.g., design, development, deployments, documentation, support) purchased from the Website or via invoice. Hardware procurement and third-party logistics are excluded unless explicitly stated in the SOW.

2) Eligibility & refund windows

  • Before work starts: 100% refund of prepaid fees (minus non-recoverable third-party costs, if any).
  • After work starts: prorated refund based on work already completed and costs committed up to the date of request.
  • After delivery/acceptance: refunds are generally not available; see the Quality rework guarantee in §10.

3) Non-refundable items

  • Third-party licenses, domains, SSLs, and usage-based cloud fees
  • Completed consulting hours or delivered artifacts already in use
  • Expedited/rush fees after the slot has been reserved
  • Custom code or designs after handover of source files/repositories

4) Cancellations

  • Client-initiated: You may cancel at any time by emailing support@sy-techsolution.com. Refunds follow §2.
  • Company-initiated: If we must cancel (e.g., conflict, feasibility), we will refund unearned fees in full.

5) Fixed-price packages

For fixed-scope offerings, the refund is: (a) 100% before work starts; (b) prorated after work starts based on documented progress and any committed third-party costs; (c) no refund after final delivery/acceptance, except under §10 rework.

6) Custom projects & milestones

  • Deposits retain capacity and are applied to the first milestone.
  • For cancellations mid-project, completed/active milestones are payable; future milestones are refunded.
  • If a milestone is partially done, we’ll prorate based on effort/ outputs and any non-recoverable expenses.

7) Retainers & hourly billing

Retainers secure a team/time window and are non-refundable once the period begins. Unused hours can be rolled over for one cycle when agreed in writing. Hourly work already performed is non-refundable.

8) Subscriptions / auto-renew

You can cancel subscriptions at any time to stop future billing. Fees already paid for the current term are non-refundable after the term starts, unless otherwise required by law or stated in your plan’s terms.

9) Change requests & scope

Material scope changes may affect budget and schedule. If you cancel because of scope changes you requested, refunds follow §2 based on completed work and third-party costs.

10) Quality rework guarantee

  • Report material defects within 5 business days of delivery with clear examples; we’ll rework promptly at no extra charge for in-scope items.
  • If issues remain unresolved after reasonable rework attempts, we’ll offer a fair, prorated refund for the affected portion.

11) Taxes, payment processors & third-party fees

Transaction fees, currency conversion, taxes, marketplace/processor charges, cloud/service usage, and licenses are non-refundable by SY Tech Solutions. Where possible, we’ll assist you in contacting the relevant provider.

12) How to request a refund

  1. Email support@sy-techsolution.com with your order ID/SOW, scope summary, and reason.
  2. We’ll acknowledge within 1–2 business days and may ask for clarifications or artifacts.
  3. We’ll confirm eligibility and amount, then proceed per §13.

13) Processing & refund method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Bank posting times vary. If the original method is unavailable, we may offer an alternative by mutual agreement.

14) Chargebacks

Please contact us first to resolve any issue quickly. Initiating a chargeback while a refund request is in progress may delay resolution. We provide documentation to the processor as needed.

15) Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws specified in your SOW or, if none, the jurisdiction where SY Tech Solutions is registered. Mandatory consumer rights in your locale still apply.
